According to the Bible Sin is actual entity

According to Genesis

if we slip at all sin stands there waiting to rule us,

yet we will rule over him.

If you find me ideology wrong then read this Bible verse

and see if you find my ideology wrong then.

Let’s read Genesis 4:7

and let’s see if the Bible

does describe sin as a man

and it does describe sin as a man,yet why?

Genesis 4:7

If you do well, shall you not be accepted?

and if you do not well,

sin lies at the door. And you shall be his desire,

and you shall rule over him.

According the Bible Sin is indeed a he

which confirms that it is a man

or a masculine presence.

Let’s see what the wages or the rewards of

serving sin really is and it is a mistake really.

Romans 6:23

For the wages of sin is death;

but the gift of God is eternal life

through Jesus Christ our Lord.

If we do wrong then sin lies at the door

and if we serve sin then we experience death.

So what good is sin really?

Nothing good at all.

  1. The question is whether the author is talking about sin as a person to form a thought. Meaning to help us understand it by giving it a persona which we often do in speech especially poetically. If sin is an entity that means it had to be created by God because Jesus created all things we are told in Colossians. But God did not create sin.. He created Satan as an angel and that angel decided to disobey God which brought “sin” into being. Not a creature but an opportunity. A choice. An option to follow him instead of God. Just wondering…
